Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimation Engineer with experience in the joinery/fitout industry to join our team. As an Estimation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for our joinery and fitout projects. Your expertise will contribute to our success in winning new contracts and delivering projects within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation to understand project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and material estimates for joinery and fitout works.
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project expenses.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to obtain accurate pricing for materials and subcontracted services.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and proposals based on project requirements and specifications.
• Present estimates to clients and provide clarifications on cost breakdowns as needed.
• Liaise with the project management team to ensure seamless transition from estimation to project execution.
• Continuously update and maintain a database of cost estimates, pricing, and supplier/subcontractor information.
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to stay updated on pricing and cost factors.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the joinery/fitout industry in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of joinery and fitout materials, techniques, and processes.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to interpret project specifications and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
