Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our glass company. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assessing project requirements and providing accurate cost estimates for various glass installations and services. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and ensure efficient planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to determine project scope and requirements.
• Analyze project details and break them down into components for accurate estimation.
• Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project details and clarify requirements.
• Utilize industry-specific tools and software to generate accurate cost estimates.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and building codes related to glass installations.
• Identify potential challenges or issues in projects and propose suitable solutions.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate estimations and smooth project execution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet estimation deadlines.
• Maintain documentation and records of estimations, revisions, and project details.

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of the glass industry, including different types of glass, their applications, and installation methods.
• Previous experience in estimating projects, preferably in the glass industry or a related field.
• Proficiency in using estimation tools, spreadsheets, or dedicated estimating software.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for precise calculations and measurements.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to propose alternative solutions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
