Job Description

The Service Technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves and repairs issues in a timely and cost-effective manner and promotes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction with our products and services. The service technician works with clients to maintain a comprehensive and timely solution.

SECTION II: KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage all on-site repair, maintenance, repairs and testing tasks to ensure proper documentation of all related processes.

  • Diagnose errors and technical problems and determine proper solutions to produce timely and detailed service reports.
  • Satisfy customer needs by making appropriate recommendations and briefings about usage preventative maintenance.

· Call the customer for the visiting appointment time.

· Attend the customer service calls, diagnose & repair as per the symptoms cure guidelines.

· Provide basic maintenance care & tips to lengthen the life of customer appliances.

· Prepare of report in the worksheet and obtaining of signature from customer, accomplishment report and to be submitted to the Technical supervisor.

· Prepare of cash collection remittance sheet and submit the cash to supervisor.

· Assist of delivery & installation, project and workshop repair when it is needed.

· Maintain of tools & vehicles being issued by the company.

· Collect and delivery of appliances from the dealers, showrooms or from customer (if any).

· Coordinate with the supervisor for any issue arises while in duty in order to avoid delays of attending service calls.

· Attend any other task given by the supervisor from time to time.

· Participate in product training provided by the company the enhance the knowledge

· Company with MHAO and RTA safety laws while driving the vehicle.

· To collect Service charges/fees from the customer and daily handover the collection amount to technical/service supervisor.

SECTION III: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES

Educational Qualification:

Completed high school with Technical Diploma

Additional Qualification:

Certificate in Electronic Repair

Years of Experience:

5 years’ experience in house appliances repair and installation

Job specific skills:

High-level ability to test, troubleshoot, service, and repair Home Applinaces . Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules and flexible shifts, Excellent Customer service, Communication and Self-management, Must have UAE’S driver’s license
