1. Prepare BOQs and quotations
2. Measure and calculate the cost of materials
3. Prepare tender submissions and take-offs Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
4. Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of fit-out works
5. Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of the project
6. Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team, project engineer and client
7. Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types
8. Determine required but non-indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents (plans specifications, etc.)
9. Collaborate with operations team and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate
10. Assess subcontractor proposals to ascertain if the scope is covered and also manage the risk of scope gaps
11. Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates for complex projects in a timely and efficient manner
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Holder of Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or equivalent years of work experience
2. Have at least 3-5 years of UAE experience in estimation & costing with an Interior Fit Out company.
3. Analytical and extremely detail-oriented
4. Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly, should there be changes in work priorities
5. Ability to multitask based on the requirement at hand.
6. Well versed in using AutoCAD for quantification and Plan Swift / Takeoff
