As a Holiday Consultant specializing in the Maldives and other inbound/outbound destination for the UAE, you will play a crucial role in crafting and selling memorable travel experiences to clients. Your responsibilities include understanding clients' travel preferences, offering expert advice, and customizing holiday packages to ensure their vacations are hassle-free and unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budget constraints. Provide expert advice on various destinations, with a focus on the Maldives and other inbound/outbound options.
  • Holiday Package Customization: Design and customize personalized holiday packages tailored to clients' specific needs and desires. Collaborate with the product and operations teams to create unique itineraries that include accommodation, transportation, activities, and special arrangements.
  • Destination Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest travel trends, visa regulations, and cultural insights for the Maldives and other relevant destinations. Provide clients with detailed information about local attractions, activities, and dining options.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Effectively communicate the value proposition of holiday packages to potential clients. Handle inquiries, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire booking process.
  • Booking and Documentation: Manage the booking process, including reservations, ticketing, and documentation. Ensure accuracy in all booking details and documentation, keeping clients informed at every step.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel partners, and suppliers. Work closely with hotels, airlines, and local service providers to negotiate favorable terms and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, competitive trends, and emerging destinations. Use insights to recommend adjustments to existing packages or introduce new offerings to meet evolving customer demands.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in travel consultancy or a related field is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Maldives and other popular inbound/outbound holiday destinations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, sales, and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with booking systems and travel-related software.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
  • A genuine passion for travel and the ability to inspire clients with destination recommendations.
