As an Insurance Consultant, Sales you will develop and manages the relationship with distribution partners on a global, regional or local level. Ensures retention, growth of the existing portfolio and improvements in the service level. Identifies opportunities and steers business through the engagement of relevant experts within Zurich. By prospecting and incorporating distribution partners actively builds a distribution network.

Job Accountabilities

As an insurance Consultant,sales your role will involve:

  • Builds and maintains a strong understanding, working and trust-based relationship with distribution partners.
  • Regular meeting with distribution partners to discuss the solutions in place and evaluate improvement potential
  • Develops and nurtures relationships with key customer contacts at customers´ selected broker and other Zurich touch points
  • Identifies, analyses and secures business development opportunities for Zurich businesses and promotes organizational propositions
  • Acts as the distribution partners single point of entry into the Zurich organization; takes the overall responsibility for the distribution partner within Zurich, escalating their issues as required; and facilitating relationships with other Zurich subject matter experts
  • Establishes a consistent view of the customer across all Zurich businesses and institutionalizes customer relationships at all appropriate functions, levels
  • Maintains oversight of service delivery to ensure service expectations are fulfilled; takes actions to enforce/reinforce partners' focus across teams
  • Investigate and review customer cases and claims and represent the organization in contentious cases to ensure a speedy resolution in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with colleagues in other functions to ensure sales campaigns are executed effectively, and contribute to the planning of sales campaigns.
  • Carry out tasks, such as the preparation of customer and distributor reports, to support the implementation of projects to time and quality standards.
  • Participate in corporate distribution projects as appropriate (may include managing the implementation of a small project, either as a small discrete initiative or a defined part of a business change program).

Job Qualifications

To Be successful in this role you will need:

  • UAE National with A family book
  • 1-3 years plus experience in a financial field
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Good organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Strong reputation for delivery against sales and expense targets
  • Relationship management skills at all levels both externally and within the organization.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Advanced knowledge of product lines and the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
