Creating detailed project plans for every activity in Primavera P6, including WBS, activity list and relations w.r.t cost loaded schedule.
Identifying critical path activities to ensure projects are delivered on time within budge, and to the required quality standard.
Collaborate with the project team to identify project requirements, including materials, equipment, and labor, and ensure that these requirements are reflected in the project schedule.
Creating links of Engineering works to Construction activities and adding shop drawing, material & resources to the timeframe & determine the feasible procurement dates.
Preparation of monthly progress reports & weekly analysis of planned vs actual progress and S-Curves.
Maintaining records of monitoring of the program to enable input and support to the Project Manager to evaluate any related Contractor claims and variations as considered necessary.
Conducting independent site visits to evaluate the site progress against the baseline and reporting to the Project Manager accordingly.
Review & verification of monthly invoices as per work progress & baseline for client and sub-contractors.
Set up weekly targets based on monthly plan & baseline program for execution work on site.
Providing support to the Project Manager in understanding the program risks and opportunities of potential additional works and variation proposals.
Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that project plans are integrated with other organizational functions.
Ensuring the works executed as planned to meet the contract completion date of project.
Checking plans, drawings & quantities to ensure work is executed as per calculations & drawings.
Preparation of EOT, claims, delay analyses and mitigation plans & monthly bills of the project.
Skills Required:
Profound knowledge and experience of Civil Engineering related to multistory buildings, steel structure and interior fit-out works including budgeting, programming, quantity surveying and invoices of project and sub-contractors.
Proficient in using planning software like Primavera P6 to create a detail-oriented project master schedule and tender program including manpower, resources and cost loading.
Proficient in using of computer softwares related to construction works such as AutoCAD, Planswift, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
Proficient in creating baseline program with cost resources and tracking & monitoring of the project.
Proficient in coordination with clients/ consultants/ architects & vendors with excellent communication skills to drive the project according to its scheduled activity.
Having knowledge of proper documentation process & strong numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil)
Completed Between 8 to 10 years of experience in the Construction Industry (Building Projects)
Minimum 5 Years Experience as a Planning Engineer
Having Civil Engineering background with ADM Card (Practicing Engineer) will be given preference
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preference will be given to candidates who are available to join immediately or short notice ( one week).
