Oxy Advertising, a digital marketing agency based in Dubai, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations (PR) and Events Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR campaigns, managing media relations, and coordinating successful events to enhance the reputation and visibility of Oxy Advertising.

Key Responsibilities:

PR Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Create compelling narratives and stories to promote Oxy Advertising's achievements, initiatives, and values.

Media Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media professionals, journalists, and influencers.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, organize press conferences, and facilitate media interviews.

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan and coordinate events to enhance Oxy Advertising's brand visibility.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.

Content Creation:

  • Write and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, articles, and speeches.
  • Develop engaging content for social media platforms to support PR campaigns.

Crisis Management:

  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and mitigate reputational risks.
  • Respond promptly and strategically to any negative publicity or crisis situations.

Social Media Management:

  • Oversee and manage Oxy Advertising's presence on social media platforms.
  • Develop and implement social media campaigns to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

Internal Communications:

  • Ensure effective communication within the organization to maintain consistency in messaging.
  • Keep employees informed about key developments and initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and the community.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to enhance Oxy Advertising's reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in PR, media relations, and event management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing situations.
  • Experience in crisis management and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of the advertising industry is a plus.
