Job Description

The Role and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance a computerized inventory system.
  • Data entry of parts and associated attributes (e.g., description, dimensions, price, availability, location etc.) into software.
  • Assist with unloading and moving of items delivered to the receiving department.
  • Notify others when parts are received.

· Place orders with vendors via phone and online platforms.

  • Assist other Departments as needed
  • Organize and maintain locations of all vendor and OEM parts.
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized.
  • Responsible for initiating purchase orders, Advance shipment Notes and entering these into ERP system
  • Must be able to work without close supervision.
  • Must track parts sales for inventory information and keep stocks at the appropriate levels.
  • Generate all new part inventory tags.
  • Check in all shipments and compare to all packing slips (GRN)
  • Ship out and track all part returns.
  • Meet with and assist sales team in reordering and stocking parts.
  • Perform physical inventory of stocked parts as required but not less than once a year.

· Coordinate with drivers and Assign for Daily Local Purchase collection.

  • The Procurement Manager will serve as back up for this position when necessary
