Quality Manager - Oil and Gas Sector (Pipes, Fittings, and Flanges)
JSS Pipes and Fittings Trading LLC is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our PFF materials in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Here are the qualifications we are seeking:
•A bachelor’s degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, or quality
management is required.
•A master’s degree or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
2. Industry Knowledge:
•Proficiency in understanding industry standards and regulations.
3. Quality Management Certifications:
•Certifications such as Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) are valued.
•Several years of relevant experience in quality management within the oil and gas sector, with a focus on PFF materials and related processes.
5. Knowledge of Standards:
•Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, ASTM, and ISO related to PFF materials is essential.
6. Quality Control Tools:
•Proficiency in quality control tools and software, such as statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS).
1. Quality Assurance:
•Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure the highest standards in the manufacturing and supply of PFF materials.
•Establish and maintain a comprehensive quality management system.
•Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements, including API, ASME, ASTM, and ISO standards.
•Oversee regulatory audits and inspections.
3. Team Leadership:
•Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve quality objectives.
•Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
4. Quality Control:
•Implement and monitor quality control processes, including inspection, testing, and documentation.
•Identify and address defects and non-conformities promptly.
•Effectively communicate quality standards and requirements to internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
6. Problem Solving:
•Utilize problem-solving methodologies, such as root cause analysis, to identify and resolve quality issues and prevent their recurrence.
•Plan and conduct internal and external audits to assess and verify the quality and compliance of PFF materials.
•Develop action plans to address audit findings.
•Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality control, audits, and compliance.
•Generate reports and present findings to management.
9. Process Improvement:
•Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within the quality management system.
•Implement best practices to optimize quality processes.
•Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their quality management skills and knowledge.
•Stay updated on industry trends and share insights with the team.
11. Supplier Management:
•Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of materials and components used in PFF products.
•Evaluate supplier performance and address quality issues as needed.
12. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
•Ensure strict adherence to HSE regulations and guidelines in all quality control and manufacturing activities.
•Promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
•Comprehensively knowledgeable in reviewing project specifications received from the end user and should be technical sound to understand the requirements of the project and summarize it.
