Sales Executive Job Description

Responsible for generating sales and revenue for a catering or food service company. Their primary role is to attract and secure new clients, maintain relationships with existing clients, and ensure the successful execution of catering events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients and market segments to target for catering services. Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and trends. Create and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the client base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns. Regularly follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and obtain feedback.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company. Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients. Negotiate pricing and terms of service to secure contracts.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with clients to plan to cater events, including menu selection, décor, and logistics. Coordinate with internal teams, including chefs and event staff, to ensure the successful execution of events. Manage event timelines and ensure all client requests are met.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Adjust sales strategies and offerings based on market changes and customer demands.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and sales activities. Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management. Handle billing and payment processing for catering services.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns promptly. Handle any issues or complaints with professionalism and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in catering sales or a similar sales role not less than 4 years.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills. Can acquire clients from Emirates of Dubai and Sharjah
  • (Plus factor) Proficient in Arabic language
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and catering services
