Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Lighting & Electrical Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in lighting and electrical systems, along with exceptional sales skills. This role involves providing expert advice to clients, identifying their needs, and delivering tailored solutions to enhance their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Development:
• Identify and target potential clients in the lighting and electrical sectors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present proposals, product demonstrations, and pricing estimates.
• Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical support and guidance on lighting design, electrical systems, and energy efficiency solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client specifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies.
• Project Management:
• Assist clients in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during implementation.
• Market Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand competitor offerings.
• Report on sales performance and provide insights for strategy improvement.
• Training and Support:
• Educate clients and internal teams on product features and benefits.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the lighting and electrical industry.
• Strong understanding of lighting technologies, electrical systems, and energy efficiency principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CAD software for lighting design.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to electrical installations.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
