We are a plant based protein snack brand looking to recruit a suitable sales manager for our local retail sales channel.
Job Role:
1. Conduct thorough market research to understand consumer preferences and competitor landscape in the new region.
2. Develop a targeted sales strategy tailored to the specific needs and opportunities of the new market.
3. Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers in the food industry (e.g., distributors, retailers, wholesalers).
4. Negotiate and close sales deals to secure new distribution channels and maximize sales growth.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
6. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies as needed.
7. Manage and maintain accurate sales records and reports.
8. Secure sales accounts in the local retail market for the brand.
9. Meet and pitch potential buyers
10. Follow up with customers for payments
11. Retail merchandising strategies to grow the brand's visibility in store
12. Meet sales targets set
Requirement:
Minimum 4-5 years of experience selling food items in the domestic market.
Strong communication skills in English
