Job Role- Senior Accountant

Location- Dubai

Notice Period- Immediate joiner

Education- Bachelor Degree in Accounting

Preferably- Arabic speaking

1. Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

2. Month-End and Year-End Closing:

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

3. General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, overseeing all journal entries and ensuring accurate financial records.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis.

5. Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Provide insights into financial trends, revenue opportunities, and cost-saving measures.

6. Tax Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate and assist in the preparation of tax returns.

7. Audit Support:

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

8. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Review and approve invoices and payments.

9. Cash Management:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for operational needs.
  • Reconcile bank statements.

10. Regulatory Compliance:- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and financial regulations. - Ensure the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements.

11. Financial Systems and Software:- Utilize accounting software and financial systems for efficient financial record-keeping and reporting.

12. Team Leadership:- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. - Provide training and guidance on accounting principles and procedures.

13. Cost Analysis:- Analyze costs and expenses to identify areas for cost control and efficiency improvements.

14. Policy and Procedure Compliance:- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. - Recommend improvements to internal controls.

15. Financial Risk Management:- Identify and assess financial risks. - Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks.

16. Financial Strategy:- Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's financial strategies.

17. Vendor Management:- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors. - Negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

18. Special Projects:- Participate in special financial projects as needed.

19. Communication:- Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders. - Collaborate with other departments to achieve financial goals.

20. Continuous Improvement:- Stay updated on industry best practices. - Propose and implement process improvements within the finance function.
