Senior Estimation Engineer

As a Senior Estimation Engineer, you will not only be responsible for providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for joinery and interior fitout projects but also for leading and mentoring a team of estimators. Your leadership skills and technical expertise will be essential in guiding the team's efforts and ensuring the success of our project acquisition process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of estimators, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Review and assess the team's estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project management and design teams to understand project scope and technical aspects.
• Source and evaluate supplier quotations to achieve cost-effectiveness and uphold project specifications.
• Prepare detailed take-offs, cost breakdowns, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
• Evaluate project risks and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
• Participate in tender meetings and negotiations as required.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, materials, and labor costs to maintain industry knowledge.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the UAE, with a focus on joinery and interior fitout projects.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of estimators.
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, techniques, and production processes.
• Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting tight deadlines.
