Senior Physiotherapist

The Senior Physiotherapist is a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist who is responsible for providing a high standard of physiotherapy care to a wide range of patients. The role also involves mentoring and supporting junior physiotherapists, and contributing to the development of the physiotherapy service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a high standard of physiotherapy care to patients with a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Use a variety of physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrotherapy to treat patients.
• Educate and empower patients to manage their own condition and promote their recovery.
• Work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Mentor and support junior physiotherapists in their professional development.
• Contribute to the development of the physiotherapy service through research, audit, and service development initiatives.
