Position: Shop Assistant
Location: Ajman
Job Role Summary:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Help customers find products, provide information, and offer recommendations as needed.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash registers.
- Restock shelves, arrange displays, and ensure the store's appearance is always clean and organized.
- Receive, unpack, and label merchandise accurately.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
- Follow store policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the shop manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move moderately heavy items.
