Receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment and compiles records of supply transactions, verify that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in a warehouse, tool room, supply room or other areas.
Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory systems.
Compile the records of the supplies and check the supplies from time to time.
Receive materials so distribute it to all stores at sites.
Coordinate between all stores at sites.
Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Advise internal users on appropriateness of parts, supplies or materials requested.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma.
Experience of 1 year in Receiving or 2 years Storekeeping in a hotel.
3+ years of experience as store keeper or a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Good Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
Competencies in data entry, analysis and management.
Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials.
