Job Title: Technical Tender - Document Controller
A medium sized specialist coating company based in the Sharjah Free Zone, UAE requires a Technical Tender - Document Controller for managing and supervising the preparation and issue of Tender and Project specific documents relating to the supply and application of High Voltage Insulator Coating (HVIC).

The Role
The Sr. Technical Tender - Document Controller will be responsible for review of all client requirements pertaining to the Tender for supply and application of high voltage insulator coating, preparation of documents which meet the client requirements and issue of same to contractors / clients for obtaining approvals. These may be summarized in the following key tasks:
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Assist in recruiting suitable sprayers and coordinating onboarding and training requirements.
· Maintain records of on-site Health and Safety and quality checks / records during execution and completion of each project.
· Provide regular reports to the Executive Directors, Site Manager and the Technical Manager on a regular basis.
· Ability to work on own initiative and report to Managers / Directors.
· Ensure cost controls and work within set contract operating budgets.
· Liaise with clients, their third-party inspectors, local equipment suppliers, specialist fabricators and equipment maintenance companies etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Experience in Tender / quotation preparation and issue.
· Knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
· Highly proficient communicator in both written and spoken English (very critical).
· Computer skills – MS Office, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Outlook etc
· Excellent knowledge of WORD, EXCEL, ADOBE ACROBAT, CAD etc.
· Skilled in the preparation of Method Statements and Quality Plans.
· Skilled in liaison with client and contractors regarding requirements of work projects.
· Experience in project management and planning.
· Attention to detail and flexibility to meet critical deadlines.
Qualifications:
· A recognised qualification such a University Degree – Preferably Mechanical or Chemical / Electrical
· On hand experience in Industrial / Protective Coatings (an advantage).
· Excellent written, verbal and inter-personal communication and presentation skills.
· Previous work experience in the Coatings, Power or Construction (EPC) sectors will be an advantage.
· Good IT and Computer skills (especially e-mails, MS Office, written and verbal communication at international level).
Emoluments
Salary depending on qualification and experience.
