Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Travel Consultant. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for travel, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to create bespoke itineraries that cater to the unique preferences of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, demonstrating a professional attitude and acting as an excellent team player.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in the Travel & Tourism department to provide seamless support.
- Utilize good sales and presentation skills to promote our services and offerings.
- Familiarity with visa issuing processes and critical requirements.
Experience / Job Description:
- Proficient in various travel software and platforms.
- Respond to inquiries about the company's services and offerings.
- Determine client requirements, including destinations, length of stay, and transit time.
- Ensure clients pay the required deposit before proceeding with bookings.
- Inform clients about the cancellation policy, including relevant dates and penalties.
- Ascertain and adhere to client budgets.
- Select the most appropriate transportation based on finances, departure/arrival times, and preferred transit duration.
- Secure accommodation based on budget and preferred location.
- Plan excursions tailored to each client's needs and interests.
- Account for mobility and medical needs during the trip planning process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role in the travel industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of travel software and platforms.
- Familiarity with visa issuing processes.
