Job Description:
As an Accountant at KEA Building Contracting, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations related to building contracting projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory compliance in the UAE. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and contribute to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, costs, and financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to monitor and control project finances.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the Building Contracting industry in the UAE.
- Knowledge of UAE taxation laws and regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
