A leading edutainment company in Dubai is looking for Area Manager for Dubai.

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible to organize and oversee the operations of several Centers. You will assume responsibility for the overall success of the Centers by setting targets, supervising Centre managers, and ensuring they are attained. Skilled in managing diverse operations from a distance. Area Manager have a strategic mindset and are excellent leadership. Excellent abilities in financial and operations planning are also essential for the role. The Purpose is to ensure Centers will meet and exceed expectations of business development and efficiency.

KEY PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Operations and Strategic Planning

· Plan by the 10th of the month, the operations strategies for the following month.

· Review comparative sales figures for same month / week last year and plan ahead with CM

· Prepare strategies for day-to-day operations in advance and brief the team on the goals

· Review the staff rota for adequate staffing is in place as per business needs by 20th of month

· Daily communications with all CMs to ensure they are prepared for the daily operations.

· Ensure all functioning zones - Salon, Retail, Café and Play etc. are aligned in the monthly plan

· Review any customer complaints with the respective CM’s and identify root causes, if any.

· Responsible for maintaining all the operational manuals and documentation; ensuring all standards and procedures are up to date.

· Oversee all Health & Safety measures and operational policies and procedures are adhered to

· Oversee updates on operational SOP’s & Centre operational manuals as required

· Follow up on all snags, maintenance and repair issues at all the Centers.

· Follow up on all ad-hoc Centre projects as discussed and agreed upon with Senior Management

· Responsible for asset management and asset registers pertaining to revenue – generating equipment, operational equipment, furniture, fittings as well as other asset related to and specifically fitted the operation.

· Host weekly staff meetings with every CM and staff in person.

· Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business operations according to organizational objectives

· Work towards maximizing sales and profitability across all centers in the areas.

· To identify and overcome problems, with employment, operation or inventory cost challenges and will need to develop strategies to solve them.

· Maintaining and increasing standards of customer experience

· Analyze data from evaluations, develop strategies and plans to increase efficiency

· Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation

· Oversee the management of stock control and ensure that inventory records are accurate.

· Have regular meetings with management about business updates, issues and opportunities.

· Provide support to Project teams ensuring the efficient execution of new projects

· Manage and develop relationships/agreements with malls and external partners/vendors

· Manage and develop relationships with all government and official bodies

· Ensure all important files, documentations are updated and saved

· Guide the CM’s towards achieving the Sales Targets and KPIs of all centers

· Watch and learn from other operators in the business and adapt best practices.

· Be aware of market realities and prepare and plan in advance to manage changes.

· Pre-Planning both Short term & long term strategies for all locations with Centre Managers

· Weekly Visitation of centres – ensuring audits are being done in a timely manner

· Oversee customer support processes and procedures, ensuring that high levels of customer service and satisfaction are adhered to

Talent Management

· Guide and inspire CM’s every day to progress on their daily goals and objectives

· Train & mentor ALL staff members with knowledge & understanding of OW operations

· Host regular meetings and ensure all communications are provided on time

· Conduct performance appraisals as scheduled and take necessary actions as required.

· Support HR Department in sourcing and recruiting the right talent needed to maintain an excellent operational standard in terms of customer service and general operations

· Have an overview on implementing the Incentive scheme across all the Centers.

· Working closely with CM’s on all operational activities and staff issues.

· Undertake regular appraisals for direct line reports and oversee the process for indirect reports ensuring consistency and an unbiased approach

· Work with CM’s to identify & develop training program and other initiatives

· Work with the HR team to Recruit, hire and train new managers for OW

· Along with HR & CM’s, support for entire lifecycle of an employee – onboarding to off boarding.

· Ensure staff compliance with all Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental (QHSE)

· Plan monthly Training programs to improve service excellence and increase productivity

· Coaching all CM’s and Staff across all locations on company values and ethics

Sales and Marketing:

· Review annual, quarterly, monthly Sales & Marketing plans and prepare in advance.

· Ensure the marketing campaigns are planned and actioned accordingly to achieve targets

· Awareness of market scenario and other brands and operations in and around the city.

· Work with the marketing team to ensure marketing campaigns are planned and actioned accordingly to deliver targeted results

· Responsible for the promotion and sustenance of the OW brand image

· Support/assist the effective launch and delivery of seasonal changes and promotion activity

· Plan along with the Marketing team and organize key/promotional events in a timely and systematic way, to ensure on-time delivery

· Develop In-house kids’ programs and kids’ activities (camps, weekly event, classes)

· Create offers & promotions to increase footfall into the respective centers

· Present the quarterly sales & marketing plan to the management

Finance

· An Overview on the daily accounting of Centre sales and EOD reports

· Connect with CM’s to analyses reasons for increase or decrease in footfall and revenues

· Ensure daily and weekly financial procedures are correctly completed in a timely manner

· Oversee the ordering of stocks to maximize profit, minimise wastage and control costs

· Develop New revenue streams to increase margins, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

· Accountable to the finance team for the P&L related to center operations.

· Overseeing if all centres are operating within their respective budgets

· Attending & presenting the Business Review Meetings – Presentations and Strategies

· Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts and share with CM’s

· Plan and implement contingencies when business is undergoing turbulent times.

General Tasks

· Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Business Head.

· Area manager must be adept at social networking

· Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficiency

· Lead a team of Centre managers towards effective collaboration and attainment of goals

· Undertake sound financial management to ensure stores are profitable and stay within budget

· Ensure compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines

· Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it

· Assist upper management in decisions for expansion or acquisition

· Prepare and control the budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency in all centres.

· Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget

· Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise

· Plan and oversee the promotional events or display

· Analyse sales and revenue reports and make forecasts

· Devise long-term development strategies for all centres

5. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal: CEO/ Operation Manager / HR/ Finance/ Administration and All Centre Personnel

External: Clients/ Vendors/ Government Authorities

6. DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

All decision-making authorities to be carried out in accordance with the Idea Crate Delegation of Authority Policy.

7. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in business administration, retail management or similar field

Degree in Operations Management is Preferred;

Minimum Experience:

10 + Years’ experience as area manager, store manager, assistant manageror similar managerial role

COMPETENCIES:

· Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

· Excellent English language skills, both written and oral. Arabic is a plus

· Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
