Cargo Supervisor

Full job description

Responsibilities:

• Manage Cargo Operations: Oversee loading/unloading, handling, storage, and timely delivery of cargo.
• Ensure Safety and Compliance: Conduct safety inspections, train staff, and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate cargo records, prepare reports, and handle customs documentation.
• Supervise Team: Lead and manage cargo handlers, assign tasks, and provide training.
• Coordinate and Communicate: Liaise with clients, shipping companies, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Improve Efficiency: Implement process improvements and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred).
• Proven experience in cargo handling, logistics, or warehouse management.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
