For a small innovative indoor farm we are looking for a harvest and operations team member/ delivery driver.
You will work with the operations team on the farm several days of the week in order to understand our farming operation and do deliveries on our busy days. Eventually you will transition to a full time delivery and general driver.
Activities will include
Assisting with harvesting as required
-Delivering products from the farm to our customers (restaurants, chefs and homes)
-Interacting with our customers in a professional and service-oriented manner.
-Taking and collecting payments
-Buying and collecting items for the farm
-Assisting at the farm with whatever is required.
Work will be Monday through Saturday. Sunday is off
Accommodation will be available at the farm
You will work together with a small team on the farm.
Requirements
-Drivers license for Manual Car
-Good spoken and written English
-Ability to work independently
-Hard working and positive attitude
-Team player able to work well in a multi-cultural team
-Good problem solving skills
-Pro-active attitude
-Good customer interaction skills
Preferred qualifications
-Basic Food Hygiene certificate or higher (preferred, not required)
-Previous experience in the farming/gardening or culinary industry are a bonus, but not required.
