Designation: Accounts Manager – J R Hardware (Building Material Trading)
We are looking for a detail- oriented Accounts Manager for our group to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The senior accountant responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining project wise documents, maintaining the ledger, preparing tax returns (VAT), assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties assigned.
To be successful as a Finance Manager, you should have a solid working knowledge of all the accounting principles and strong financial analysis skill. An outstanding senior accountant should also possess strong excel skills be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with supervision and perform under pressure, and directly reporting to the Managing Director.
Education: Degree in Bachelors / Masters in Accounts
Experience: 7-10 years
Job Responsibilities:
· Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
· Preparing financial analyses and reports.
· Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
· Preparing budgetary report and monitoring budgets.
· Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
· Assisting with annual audit preparations.
· Closely work with project estimator team.
· Estimate quotation & variation.
· Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
· Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns (VAT).
· Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
· Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
· Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
· Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
· Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant.
· Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
· Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers.
· Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
· Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
· Preparing month-end and year-end close process.
· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
· Ensure compliance with GAAP/ IFRS principles.
· Liaise with our MD and GM to improve financial procedures.
· Communicating with the clients/ representatives for payments.
Senior Accountant Requirements:
· Bachelors/Master’s degree in accounting or Finance required
· CA background is required
· 07 to 10 years of experience in Building Material Trading company
· Strong financial analysis Skills.
· Strong Organizational and stress management skills
