Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
Budgeting:
Lead the annual budgeting process and support department heads in budget preparation.
Monitor and report on variances from the established budget and the reasons for those variances.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reports to management and stakeholders.
Compliance and Internal Controls:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
Optimize the management of bank and deposit relationships.
Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and mentor finance team members.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department.
Strategic Support:
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are required.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
