Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Manager for our Holiday Home Company, responsible for overseeing the daily operations and providing strategic direction. The GM role encompasses all aspects of operations, from day-to-day team management to achieving company growth targets for our property portfolio. With a minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in Holiday Homes, you will play a pivotal role in our success.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all levels of work, including sales, guest relations, administration, and property onboarding, while setting clear objectives.
  • Manage budgets and expenses, analyze and interpret financial data, and continuously monitor sales and profits.
  • Plan activities and delegate responsibilities to create the most efficient operating model.
  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to promote the hotel's services effectively.
  • Handle guest complaints and oversee service recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with external parties, such as suppliers, travel agencies, and event/conference planners.
  • Ensure ongoing profitability of the properties by meeting and exceeding revenue and guest satisfaction targets.
  • Make decisions in the best interest of management and deliver budget goals while setting short- and long-term strategic goals.
  • Regularly inspect facilities and ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to implement impactful strategies.
  • Closely monitor daily business reports and make decisions accordingly.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise the team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A university degree in hotel management or a related field.
  • Previous experience in performance evaluation.
  • Working knowledge of human resources processes.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans.
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures.
  • Ability to motivate and lead people and hold employees accountable.
