Human Resources Manager (HR)
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Our client is a dynamic and innovative organisation operating in infrastructure projects within the UAE market. They are committed to fostering a positive and productive work environment that encourages growth, collaboration, and excellence. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to join their leadership team.
Job Summary:
The Head of Human Resources will lead the HR department and oversee all HR functions to ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in the UAE market, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to drive organisational success through people management and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
- Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employee relations, addressing issues and resolving conflicts.
- Lead the performance management process, including appraisals and feedback mechanisms.
- Develop and monitor HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Foster a positive organizational culture and work environment.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Oversee HR budget and resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior HR leadership role in the UAE.
- Extensive knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in HR management software.
- Knowledge of organizational development and change management.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
Start date: ASAP
Working hours/days: Sunday - Thursday 07:30AM - 17:30PM (1 hour break)
