Job Description

The Recruitment Officer is responsible for the full cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring recommendations. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for Construction and heavy equipment transport companies, as well as a strong understanding of the industry and its specific needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet the company's hiring needs
  • Source and screen candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals
  • Conduct initial and follow-up interviews with candidates
  • Assess candidates' skills and experience, and make hiring recommendations to the HR Manager
  • Prepare and present job offers to candidates
  • Onboard new employees and ensure they are properly transitioned into their roles

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the Construction and heavy equipment transport industry
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
