Job Description
Coordinate health and safety systems in Mai Dubai. Identify hazards, assess risks to health and safety, put appropriate safety controls in place and provide advice about accident prevention and occupational health to the HSE Manager and employees.
Assist development, implementation, communication and coordination of all environmental, health, and safety policies and programs for Mai Dubai
Responsibilities:
- Inspect workplaces and workplace equipment, such as Machines and Equipment's, to ensure they meet safety regulations and to identify hazards and risks
- Work with engineers and other professionals to ensure the safety of production lines as er OEM recommendation and work practices
- Ensure personal protective equipment (such as hearing protection, dust masks, safety glasses, footwear and safety helmets), is being used in work laces according to regulations
- Ensure dangerous materials are correctly stored
- Record and report hazards, accidents, injuries and health issues within the workplace
- Provide medical support in case of accidents First Aid
- Assist with the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions study possible causes and recommend remedial action
- Coordinate emergency procedures, mine rescues, firefighting and first aid crews
- Assist the employees in conducting risk analyses, as required. In addition to the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) of existing task processes.
- Assist in continuously update MSDS database and continuously inform individuals concerning the introduction of new chemicals in the work areas, makin sure MSDS is communicated.
- Assist in building and maintaining an environmental system com I in with ISO 14001 requirements
- Monitor, record and analyze environmental parameters such as noise, DB temperature, WB temperature, Humidity , CO, C02„„etc to ensure compliance with local regulations
- Assist in implementation of HSE programs and continuous improvement related initiatives
- Attend minor and major contracting works to ensure contractor compliance with local regulations in addition to the SWP issued to him.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Training
Diploma Degree in a related field or certification in an
HSE related field (NEBOSH, OSHA BS , OHSASI 8001 ,etc)
Experience
Minimum 0—2 years' experience
Knowledge
Has a good knowledge in
1. Local Regulations (0M, DCD...etc.)
2. Energy and Environmental Standards
3. NFPA Related standards
4. OSHA, NEBOSH, ....etc.
