Job Description

The Kids Club Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of children while their parents or guardians utilize the facilities or services.

Child Supervision: Supervise children, ensuring their safety at all times.
Interact with children in a friendly and nurturing manner.
Assist children with activities and games.

Activity Planning: Plan and organize age-appropriate activities and games for children.
Create a fun and engaging environment that stimulates children's creativity and social development.
Ensure activities align with any club or facility guidelines and policies.

Safety and Health: Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic play area.
Enforce safety rules and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
Be prepared to respond to minor injuries or incidents and administer first aid as needed.
Ensure children are properly supervised at all times, especially during outdoor play.

Communication: Greet parents and guardians, providing information about club services and activities.
Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding their child's well-being and any specific instructions or concerns.
Report any issues, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or manager.

Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate attendance records of children using the Kids Club.
Follow sign-in and sign-out procedures for children.
Keep inventory of supplies and request restocking as needed.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to parents and guardians.
Address any questions or concerns in a friendly and helpful manner.

Professional Development: Stay current with CPR and first aid certifications.
Attend training sessions or workshops related to childcare and child development.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or a related field is often preferred.
  • CPR and first aid certification may be required.
  • Patience, a nurturing demeanor, and the ability to engage with children effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic organizational and administrative skills.
  • Knowledge of child safety protocols and best practices.
