Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized individual to oversee the efficient management of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the procurement, transportation, and delivery of supplies to vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing logistics operations for ship chandlering activities
- Coordinating with suppliers, shipping agents, and vessel crews
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of supplies
- Preparing and maintaining shipping documentation
- Resolving logistical challenges and implementing efficient solutions
- Analyzing logistics costs and identifying opportunities for improvement
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management
- Possessing a professional logistics certification (preferred)
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
