Full job description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sea Freight operations, customs clearance, and extensive knowledge of Dubai Trade, Stack Operations and contacts within shipping lines. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth and efficient freight forwarding operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of Freight operations, including but not limited to LCL and FCL shipments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and procedures for smooth customs clearance.
• Coordinate and negotiate with shipping lines to secure competitive rates and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
• Utilize Dubai Trade platform and other relevant systems for efficient documentation and tracking of shipments.
• Handle and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies that may arise during the freight forwarding process.
• Maintain a strong network of contacts within the industry to facilitate smooth operations and explore business opportunities.
• Handle our Stack operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Sea Freight operations and customs clearance, preferably in a freight forwarding company.
• In-depth knowledge of Dubai Trade platform and familiarity with relevant documentation and procedures.
• Strong network and contacts within shipping lines and industry stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of LCL and FCL shipments, including container loading and consolidation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
