Material / Tiles Coordinator

We are hiring for materials / Tiles Coordinator for our Dubai Office. Ideal candidate should have minimum 3 - 5 years experience as material / Sales Coordinator role in UAE. Any sales coordinator role in Tiles & Slabs industry will be added advantage.

Role Summary

Working for BAGNODESIGN you will provide support to BDM and each salesperson across the Retail division and coordinate sales-related activities related to Tiles & Slabs. Although not a direct responsibility to sell, sales coordinators play an important part in maintaining good customer relationships by acting as an extension of the field sales force.

Job Description:

• Act as a first point of contact for urgent calls, emails and messages related to Tiles when concerned sales person is not available.
• Assist sales team members to evaluate their client’s needs and requirements based on the information they provided and propose suited product they can propose along with prices for them to quote,
• Whenever required, prepare and revise quotations on behalf of the salesperson to best suit the requirements of the customer.
• Prepare and send appropriate technical documentation, submittals and product presentations as required for securing of tiles specifications and winning project quotations.
• Evaluate enquiries that you receive directly, extract relevant information from files provided such as specifications, BOQ and project details, be it tender, job in hand or design phase. Prepare the quotation / product proposal suited to the requirement, in coordination with BDM before assigning to a salesperson to handle.
• Contact customers and prospects to arrange appointments or make follow-up calls on quotation status, confirm orders or coordinate delivery dates, on behalf of an absent salesperson or whenever required.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of orders, samples, presentation submittals or any inquiries. You will handle orders by telephone or email and check that they include correct prices, discounts, and items codes, contacting customer to resolve queries.
• Have a direct collaboration with other departments within the organization in support of Sales team requirements whenever the situation calls for it. Create materials stock transfers for samples or marketing materials. Ensure that Tile areas of the Gallery have enough sales support materials, such as product brochures and samples are available whenever the need calls for it. Ensure samples at Gallery back store are complete with at least 1 each of Tile stock items and any other relevant materials that will be required for client presentation within the Gallery. Coordinate with Tile Merchandiser, or warehouse tile team & production team directly for if any is missing.
• Maintain updated pricing of product on displays and keep records of selling pricelist of all Tile products.
• Coordinate the work of the Tile Sample Assistant (Prakash)
• Ensure that Showroom tiles display area, library and sample shelves/drawer are kept clean and tidy and presented in a professional manner.
• Assist clients, and help close deals to help achieve team Sales Target.
• Oversee the Tile Gallery and related activities in the absence of the business development Manager.
• Maintain and promote the BAGNODESIGN image to the highest standards.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
