Position: Media Coordinator
Job Location: Abu Dhabi
Job Summary
Reports directly to the Marketing Specialist, the Media Coordinator develop and implement targeted communications, advertising content for a variety of media platforms, great creativity with a keen interest in creating and implementing cost-efficient and effective media campaigns, write, proofread and edit all media contents, plan and execute all media and advertising campaigns.
Further, Media Coordinator manage the digital assets of the company, working with a variety of different teams to ensure that all of the content is properly organized, tagged, and stored in a central location.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Creating new digital content, write blog posts, create social media posts, shoot videos to be used on company websites or other online platforms
· Providing administrative and clerical support
· Developing effective marketing campaigns for digital mediums such as websites and social media platforms
· Monitoring website performance and making adjustments when needed
· Managing incoming calls for customer service issues
· Developing content for the company’s website and social media platforms
· Participating in marketing research to identify new trends in consumer behavior and interests
· Creating images, animations, or video content using computer software such as Photoshop or Illustrator
· Coordinating with other departments to develop and execute marketing plans that incorporate digital media components such as email campaigns, blogs, podcasts, or videos
· Reviewing incoming bids from advertising agencies or other vendors for digital media projects pertaining to websites, social media, mobile apps, e-books, or other online media
· Overseeing the development of online publications such as blogs, online journals, or interactive databases
· Help build rapport with clients and media outlets
· Assisting in implementing, monitoring and troubleshooting media projects
· Identifying press opportunities through evolving issues
· Developing content for broadcast, print, and online distribution channels
· Negotiating with media channels to close competitive deals
· Create and monitor media schedules
· Ensuring that key messages align with vital business strategies
· Serving as the organization’s media liaison and formal spokesperson
· Facilitating press conferences and briefings
· Scanning media marketplace to keep up-to-date on the latest media trends
· Assisting, monitoring and coordinating all media campaigns, and reporting on results
· Creating and managing the organization’s social media profile and presence
· Promoting additional projects to support new product launches
· Building long-term relationships with media houses
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
· Good analytical/problem solving, quantitative abilities and ability to work under pressure and handle stress
· Effective professional verbal and written communication skills in English, Arabic is an added advantage
· Solid presentation skills, reporting and documentation skills
