About The Role:
Fabtech International is seeking a Planning Engineer to join our dynamic Planning team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role to achieve the successful execution of engineering and construction projects by ensuring that all planning and scheduling tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
2. Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and logical activity sequences
3. Track progress against baselines and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports
4. Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Site teams to capture updates.
5. Identify schedule risks and incorporate mitigation strategies
6. Manage resource planning (labour, materials, equipment) and optimize usage
7. Support change management by assessing schedule impacts and revising forecasts
8. Ensure all planning complies with internal QA standards and client requirements
Qualification & Experience:
* BE/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
* 3–5+ years in Steel Construction/Fabrication Industry (Structural, Piping and Pressure Vessels)
* Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel (Advanced)
* Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
