Hercules Depot is one of the leading building material distributors in the UAE, representing major brands such as RAK Ceramics, MAPEI, SIKA, Makita etc. We are looking at onboarding a procurement officer/buyer whose primary responsibility is to assist the General Manager in procurement in the periodic purchase of products/brands in sanitary ware, power tools, safety hardware, electrical items etc.
This includes the following -
1. Create RFQs send by the digital marketing department and e-commerce department for the promotion of the company brands
2. Evaluate bids from vendors based on criteria such as price, quality, and service level agreement commitments.
3. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and initial outreach to become partners with Hercules Depot.
4. Generate reports summarizing purchase activities such as spend analysis data or supplier performance metrics.
5. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure the accurate and timely payment of invoices.
6. Maintain dialogue and visibility to vendors to improve service and performance.
Having prior experience in dealing with RFQs from corporate major clients enquires is a major plus.
