Job description
Role & Responsibilities:
Identify and Evaluate Suppliers:
Research and identify potential suppliers globally
Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, and quality to make informed sourcing decisions.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure special support, timely delivery, and quick resolution of any issues.
Market Awareness:
o Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and pricing in the IT equipment market.
o Conduct ongoing market research to identify new suppliers and products that align with organizational requirements.
Cost Analysis:
o Analyze costs associated with IT equipment procurement and identify opportunities for cost savings.
o Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining quality standards.
Contract Management:
o Draft, review, and manage contracts with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
o Negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions for the organization.
Skills Required:
Technical Knowledge:
o Deep understanding of products and it’s specifications.
Industry Knowledge:
o Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in procurement.
o Familiarity with global suppliers.
Attention to Detail:
o Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in procurement & tendering processes.
Communication Skills:
o Effective written and verbal communication skills for interactions with suppliers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Civil and Mechanical, Computer Science, or a related field.
o Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
