Quantity Surveyor and Estimator

We are immediately looking for a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor and Estimator with a strong background in UAE fit-out projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess excellent analytical and communication skills, and have a thorough understanding of local construction practices and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed cost estimation and budget analysis for fit-out projects.
• Review and evaluate project plans and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates, including BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for various fit-out projects.
• Collaborate with project teams and suppliers to source accurate pricing for materials and services.
• Provide ongoing cost control and tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Assist in the negotiation and procurement of subcontracts and materials.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance against budget and report variances.
• Prepare and present cost reports and analysis to project stakeholders.
• Stay updated with local construction regulations and market trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Estimator in the UAE, with a focus on fit-out projects.
• Proficient in quantity take-off software and estimation tools.
• Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly analytical.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Professional certifications in Quantity Surveying are a plus.
