The role of this job holder is to maintain inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse; supervising staff. Manage supplier relations, and coordinate with colleagues to ensure prompt delivery of material, adequate stock levels against requirements and ensure that deadstock is reduced as much as possible. Must have knowledge of stock-control systems so that they can effectively record and analyse them.
Duties & Responsibility
· Replenish supply inventories following established guidelines of the company.
· Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working environment as per government regulation.
· Manage the store layout.
· Supervise other staff members and keep a record of sales.
· Receive, upload, and shelf all supplies.
· Coordinate and handle freight and movement of product.
· Keep an organised allocation of inventory placed in warehouse and store.
· Cross-verify the monthly report at the end of each month.
· Ensure proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchase.
· Generate a material received report (MRR) timely.
· Ensure storage of goods follow the first in first out (FIFO) method.
· Ensure all stock is up to the required levels.
· Optimize employee workflow.
· Ensure purchase LPO’s are approved as per the business requirements.
· Prepare and finalize all store estimates.
· Ensure maintaining the security of the store.
· Ability to comprehend given tasks and priorities requirements.
· Inspect delivers for discrepancy or damage.
· Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement.
· Perform stock related duties like returning, packing, labelling, and pricing goods.
Qualification & Skills
· High School Diploma.
· Ability to use technology such as computers, printers, Microsoft Office programs.
· Proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
· Daily transactions report.
· Daily shortage list.
· Quarterly inventory report.
