We are Looking for a Project Manager for our Survey Department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a project-based, schedule-driven environment.
Job description
Responsible for all aspects of the survey process including technical aspects, staff management, and staff scheduling.
Conduct surveys using various surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners, levels, and mobile mapping.
Establish and verify control points to ensure accuracy in survey measurements.
Requires broad based knowledge of all phases of land surveying including boundary analysis, topography, GPS, 3D laser scanning, and construction layout services.
Coordinates multiple survey projects involving various survey tasks including estimating and proposal preparation.
Ability to provide supervision and guidance to field crews and office staff and communicate with client representatives and internal engineering project managers.
Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of an organization.
Be accessible and responsive to the needs of clients.
Collect, analyses, and interpret survey data, including terrain, boundaries, structures, and other relevant information.
Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
Collaborate with other Engineering Professionals to provide accurate survey information for project planning and design phases.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on survey-related matters to project teams.
Stay updated with advancements in surveying technology and industry best practices.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment during surveying activities.
