Job Description:
Doleep Studios, a leading Media Production agency in the UAE, is looking for a talented video editor & videographer to record and assemble the recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and our clients’ requirements.
Responsibilities:
● Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
● Prepare moodboards/storyboards
● Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
● Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
● Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
● Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
● Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements
● Minimum 1 year of experience as a video editor and videographer
● Arabic reading and writing skills are preferred
● Solid portfolio of videos recorded and/or edited personally
● Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects or Final Cut).
● Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
● Strong knowledge of special effects, 3D and compositing.
● Creative mind and storytelling skills
