The Opportunity:

Jumeirah International Nurseries is opening its doors to 4 new Nurseries/Early Childhood Centres in prime locations of Dubai by August 2022. We are looking to recruit young, experienced, and dynamic Administrative Officers to join our well-established chain of Nursery/Early Childhood Centres in Dubai.

Job Purpose:

The Administrative Officer is responsible to meet, greet, and directing Parents, Guests, and Vendors to staff. The post holder will also provide secretarial, clerical, and administrative support in an effective and efficient manner

Main Accountabilities:

· To provide outstanding administration support for the Nursery, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively.

· To answer the telephone in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner - to troubleshoot and solve problems where appropriate, be proactive in decision making, and support in addressing issues.

· To support and manage the preparation and execution of Nursery events.

· To work under the general direction of the Nursery Manager supporting the day-to-day operations on the Nursery site.

· To act as an integral part of the Nursery team, to be a welcoming point of contact for parents and children both face to face and remotely, and as such contribute to the overall aims of the Nursery.

· To be first in line to accept and process messages and act as a filter system regarding telephone inquiries and personal callers to the Nursery reception.

· To ensure a welcoming environment and a positive first impression of the Nursery and school.

· To record and respond to correspondence via the Nursery office

· To support the office function, including general administration duties as directed by the Nursery Manager.

· Processing and organising Nursery admissions.

· To carry out any other reasonable request from the Nursery and Academy’s leadership team.

· To input pupil data as directed by the Nursery Manager.

· To manage and update social media accounts linked to the Nursery.

· Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)

· Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

· Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to complete key tasks & projects.

· Compliance with all policies and procedures of the Nursery.

Job specification:

· Candidate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration or management

· Minimum of 4 years of professional administrative experience

· Excellent customer service skills

· Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format and build and maintain relationships.

· Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
