Job Description
We are dynamic UAE start-up on a mission to disrupt the furniture industry in Dubai. Since our launch in 2021, we have already furnished 1000 homes.
In 2023, we launched www.kurtains.ae -a sister company specialized on custom made curtains- and we are looking for an operations manager to build and oversee the installation teams, manage their day-today operations and put in place state-of-the-art operational processes for MAKAN.
DRIVING LICENSE IS MANDATORY TO APPLY FOR THE ROLE.
What will you do at MAKAN?
- Build a state of the art installation team: hire, train and develop technicians
- Manage day to day operations: define scheduling and dispatch installation teams
- Define, monitor and optimize KPIs for curtains installation
- Visit installations to conduct quality audits
- Help us scale Kurtains operations and build standard processes
- Solve potential issues with clients linked to installation
What do you need to apply?
- At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced client-facing operations (shipping, logistics, transportation): if you like solving daily logistic puzzle, this job is for you!
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English: at MAKAN client is king, we are looking for someone very patient with client, that can always find a solution that makes them happy
- Entrepreneurial spirit: you like building operations, and want to progress fast in your career. At MAKAN we recognize and promote talent
- UAE driving license is mandatory
- Good grip on Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, and open to learning new digital tools
- Previous experience in the curtains industry and past entrepreneurial experience are a big plus!
