At Zahr Freighters in Dubai, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials while ensuring timely deliveries. Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Transport:
  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
  • Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure optimal performance, including monitoring fuel, oil, and tire conditions.
  • Report any vehicle issues or necessary repairs to the fleet management team promptly.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, routes taken, and any delays or issues encountered.
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed for each delivery, such as invoices and delivery notes.
• Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring safe and timely delivery of products.
  • Assist in loading and unloading goods when necessary and ensure products are handled with care.
• Compliance with Regulations:
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies regarding driving and delivery.
  • Follow the prescribed delivery routes and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably within the logistics or transportation sector.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai’s road networks and traffic regulations.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to handle heavy goods and assist with loading/unloading when required.
• Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently.
