Follow up with the client /consultant to receive all contract documents prior to construction commencement.
Coordinate with other subcontractors for the sequence of work
Review the documents forward any RFI (Request for Information) to the client related to all electrical works on the project
Assist in the study of the breakdown of all items on the BOQ, taking into consideration materials cost, labor cost, testing commissioning, overhead, and profit
Follow up with the client /consultant for copies of all documents that have been approved by the authorities
Review material submittals and verify that they are abiding by client standards, specifications, and local rules, codes, and regulations
Prepare & Review all shop drawings submitted by the client and ensure that all details are included. Forward approval to the authority.
Conduct a site inspection to ensure that the works are carried out as per the approved drawings and client’s standards
Prepare regular progress reports for review by the Managing Director.
Requirements and skills
Proven 1-2 year work experience as a Project Estimator/Designer or similar role
Hands-on experience with project/Drawing management tools (e.g. AutoCAD )
