Position summary

Restaurant manager is responsible for overseeing our Restaurant operations ensuring high standards of the guest experience, safety, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced food and beverage leader able to ensure that policies, guidelines, and procedures are consistently met; while serving as a mentor, nurturing team skills, and supporting their professional growth.

Compensation: AED 12,000 +benefits / per month

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors in Hospitality Management preferred
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Understanding of financial concepts
  • Understanding of local laws, culture and policies
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
  • Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills

Experience

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in restaurant or hospitality or retail.
  • Experience is working with children and families preferred.
  • Certification of Basic Hygiene Training & Person in Charge Training preferred.

Skills required

  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests, suppliers and team members.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership skills (overseeing Restaurant team members).

Responsibilities

  • Restaurant Leadership: Take charge of the Restaurant operations, overseeing all aspects of supplies ordering, food preparation, menu development, execution quality, and guest service.
  • Team Management: Lead and inspire the team, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring seamless coordination. Forecasts and adequately schedules team members to meet operational needs.
  • Guest Service: Constantly enhancing the guest experience to cater to a diverse range of customers, including children. Ensure friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and train team members, nurturing their skills, and supporting their professional growth.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste, ensuring consistency across all dishes and adhering to relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory and Cost Control: Ensures that adequate products ordered to service each event. Manage inventory levels, minimize waste, and ensure efficient utilization of ingredients while maintaining budgetary guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Builds and maintains strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and team members.
  • Supplier Management: Ensures that adequate products ordered to service each event. Coordinate payments and contracts.
  • Creative development: Collaborate with other teams to create new interactive and fun F&B ideas according to museum events and activations, and customer preferences.
  • Operations:

Understands all menus, product offerings, packaging, and pricing.

Plan menus, promotions, and programs.

Ensures all areas have proper displays and merchandise.

Achieves daily sales and assigned cost goals.

Develops and achieves budget goals.

Effectively verifies all opening and closing inventories.

Executes required admin and reporting (daily and monthly) in a timely manner.

Ensures proper cash handling procedures are being performed.

Ensures all security, safety, and sanitation standards are executed.

Ensures complete maintenance of equipment, including preventative schedule.

Ensures quality standards are always maintained.

Other responsibilities, as needed.
