Job Description

We are looking for a Yachts Operations Manager to make sure that all yacht staff are well managed and able to provide the best possible service at all times that allows our guests to indulge in a unique unforgettable experience. The Yachts Operations Manager makes the transition from land to sea as smooth as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead all operational activities related to yachts’ business.
  • Create an exceptional customer friendly environment.
  • Continually driving service quality and effectiveness while ensuring sustained commercial growth in the business.
  • Makes sure that our yachts and yachts' crew are providing the highest level of luxury services to our guests.
  • It’s a big operation, turning the fleets around. You will need to utilise all of your experience and management skills to make sure everything from the cleanliness of the yachts to meeting all guest special requests are met.
  • Ability to develop & run training sessions for yacht staff.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the yacht programme at the centre and to communicate effectively with all relevant departments.
  • Build outstanding work culture & ethics among the team.
  • Actively manage resources and processes related to the Operations Services provided.
  • Coach & mentor the team in all aspects of their daily job.
  • Assist in establish & maintaining long term relationship with our customers.
  • Manage the inventory on all of our yachts.

Qualification and Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality or same industry
  • Excellent decision making skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to prioritize and complete time sensitive tasks
  • A high degree of attention to detail, capable of checking/ recording information accurately
  • Self-motivated, able to solve problems and manage their own time
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality
  • Problem solving skills and can deal with last minute requests
  • Leadership skills – the ability to oversee, guide and advise a big team
  • Willingness and ability to look after Owners interests
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with both staff & guests in person.
