1-Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information.
2-Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.
3-Establishes entry priorities.
4-Processes Patient and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.
5-Resolves deficiencies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
6-Enters patients and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on a keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.
7-Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
8-Verifies patient and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
9-Combines data from both systems when account information is incomplete.
10-Purges files to eliminate duplication of data.
11-Tests patients and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data.
12-Secures information by completing database backups.
13-Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
14-Maintains Patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
15-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements of the role:
. bachelors or Diploma degree in a related field.
· Minimum 2 years experience as a Data entry or in a related field.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Good time management skills.
· Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
· Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
